The Capital is a Layered Shield World, home to the Master Builder and many other high-ranking Forerunners. The symbols covering the planet are the Forerunner symbol for “0”, symbolizing that in the line of Forerunner planets, this was the first. These symbols are also found on each large continent. The Capital’s exterior is almost entirely covered with Forerunner structures and installations, including a Sentinel Wall surrounding Ecumene Council’s chamber. The Capital is also home to the Forerunners’ biggest Library, surrounded by a Sentinel Wall as well as an Apex Site able to unlock many Warships and Warship Docking Towers.
